AfterCare for Laser Hair Removal

After undergoing Laser Hair Removal at Waterloo Medical Cosmetics, your skin may be sensitive for a few days. To help the healing process and maximize results, we recommend the following steps:


  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and always use a high-SPF sunscreen
  • Keep the treated area clean and moisturized
  • Exfoliate the treated area 72 hours after treatment to sluff off any dead hair/regrowth
  • Refrain from activities that might cause excessive sweating or heat, such as working out or using a sauna, for at least 24 hours post-treatment
  • Avoid shaving, waxing, or plucking hairs in the treated area until your skin has fully healed
  • Stay well-hydrated and maintain a healthy diet to promote skin health and recovery.
